Bah! So a little while back ago someone calls me offering me a vacation package with an orlando hotel stay + a free cruise I had business in Orlando soon so I figured hey why not take this deal so I can use the hotel rooms during my business stay in Orlando I had noticed that the sales people on the phone for this company were being rather pushy but I didnt think too much of it and went ahead and booked a "package" tho the whole time in the back of my mind their answers to my questions seemed evasive and I realized later that I knew nothing about what was exactly in the package, also they kept on springing surprises on me throughtout the booking process and pressuring me to buy additional upgrades and crap so I started doing some research on them and lo-and-behold I hit a crap-pot (as opposed to jack-pot) of consumer complaints on the internet about this Ramada Plaza Resorts/Imperial Majesty Cruise Lines company, formerly known as Beachcombers apparently these shekkies rob people everyday with deceptive business practices and promises of free cruises and crap like that I immediatly called them back up to cancel everything and then I started getting the Hangup-in-my-face and the run around from these guys so I called up my credit card company and asked to to pwn these sheks in the face, as well as sending them a letter via fax explaining to them their illegal business practices as well as my rights as a consumer to get a refund within 30 days so we will see how all this plays out, sheesh I should have known better the whole high pressure sales should have been an instant tip off |
